Kraków-Paris with Air France inaugurated
On 4th July 2016, Air France and Kraków Airport have launched a new direct service between Kraków and Paris. The flights from Kraków to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport will be offered until August 28th, 4 times a week: on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays on the Airbus A319 and Airbus A318 aircraft.
After landing the first aircraft was welcomed with a water salute, thereafter the ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out by: Radosław Włoszek (acting President of Kraków Airport Management Board), Thierry Guichoux (Consul General of the Republic of France in Kraków), and Frantisek Siling (Air France Country Sales Manager for Poland).
To celebrate the inaugural flight Kraków Airport had a surprise for passengers. After passing through a gate of balloons in the colours of the carrier specially prepared for the occasion, all passengers departing to Paris were treated to cupcakes with traditional symbols of France printed on them and received small gift from the carrier.
Air France’s direct connection from Kraków to Paris it's a great opportunity to visit one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. Thanks to the new flight passengers will also be able to benefit from the global network of Air France-KLM, which consist of 316 cities in 115 countries, including many interesting destinations for example Shanghai, Buenos Aires or Mauritius. Moreover, since February 15, 2016, the number of flights served by KLM to Kraków increased to 14 frequencies weekly. All in all, Air France – KLM Group will offer from Kraków Airport 18 flights per week in Summer 2016 season.
