Promotional video
Katowice Airport is the largest regional cargo airport in Poland, and sees approximately four-million passengers per year. So far in 2014, the airport has seen a 6.6% increase in passenger numbers from January - September in comparison to the same period last year.
The airport is constantly developing, and has future plans to construct a new passenger arrivals terminal, aircraft de-icing base, a new cargo terminal, and an extended runway.
It is the most-easily accessible airport in Poland, with great transport links, and over 4,000 parking spaces for passengers. The airport is a base for Wizz Air, which has just introduced a new route to the Scottish city of Glasgow.
