Passenger Statistics – June 2015

June 2015 was the best month in Katowice Airport’s history in terms of the number of passengers overall. The record was also broken with regards to regularly-scheduled services, and grew in charter services.

Overall, Katowice Airport handled 367 143 passengers, which is 56 000 (+18%) more than in June 2014. This result makes it not only Katowice Airport’s best June in history, but also the best month result ever.

June 2015 was also the best month in the airport’s history in terms of the number of passengers handled with regards to regularly-scheduled services – 188 664, which is 31 000 (+19.5%) more than in the corresponding month last year.

In terms of charter services, Katowice Airport handled 177 304 passengers, almost 25 000 more (+16%) than in the sixth month of 2014.

Katowice Airport has handled 1 269 534 passengers in the first half of 2015. This translates to 152 000 more passengers (+13.5%)  than in the first half of 2014.
