Passenger statistics - August 2015
August was the best 8th month in the history of the Katowice Airport
Overall, Katowice Airport handled 423 834 passengers, which is 56 719 (+15,5%) more than in August 2014.
Regularly-scheduled services transported 204 817 passengers which is 43 019 more (+26,5%) than in August last year.
The charter sector handled 218 519 passengers which is 13 599 more (+6,5%) in comparison to the first eight months of 2014.
The Upper Silesian Aviation Group, which manages Katowice Airport, forecasts that 2015 will see passenger numbers break the 3 000 000 mark. This year's summer timetable boasts 95 routes - 35 regularly-scheduled services, and 60 charter destinations.
