Ryanair announced a new base in Marseille Provence airport!
Starting S19, the Irish carrier will base 2 aircraft in Marseille Provence airport.
On September 27th, Ryanair has announced settling a new base in Marseille, consolidating our airport as their 2nd biggest in France regarding departing seats.
The Irish ULCC will base 2 aircraft B737-800, representing an investment of $200 Millions.
In terms of operation, Ryanair will hit 40 routes next summer, including 11 new ones :
- Agadir AGA (D15)
- Alicante ALC (D26)
- Bologna BLQ (D246)
- Bordeaux BOD (Daily)
- Bucharest OTP (D15)
- Budapest BUD (D26)
- Manchester MAN (D26)
- Naples NAP (D15)
- Ouarzazate OZZ (D37)
- Prague PRG (D15)
- Warsaw WMI (D37)
In total, Ryanair will fly 150 weekly flights to reach an estimated volume of 2.4 Millions passengers per year.
