About The Airport
Stockholm Skavsta Airport is an international airport located 60 mins south of downtown Stockholm by car. There is also a direct bus link that takes 75 minutes and also train/bus links.
In 2019 the airport was the 3rd largest in Sweden handling 2.2 million passengers to 48 international destinations. However, since COVID traffic numbers and destinations are well down but this also allows for many opportunities when looking at unserved routes. Wizzair, Norwegian and TUI make up the largest share of all commercial traffic at the airport and SkyUp has just announced it will start flying on RMO-NYO from 1st June twice weekly.
The airport contains a modern terminal building with 16 check-in desks and there are no operational restrictions at the airport operating 24/7. The terminal provides retail shops, restaurants, currency exchange, business lounge and Internet services etc to our passengers and visitors.
Both long term, short term and indoor parking as well as a hotel with 300 rooms are located very close to the main terminal. Regular airport coach/bus services operates to and from Stockholm, Linköping , Nyköping and Norrköping.
