Cork Chamber Welcomes New Aer Lingus Cork-Brussels Route

Cork Chamber has welcomed the official launch of a Cork to Brussels service by Aer Lingus which will further develop the region’s connectivity. 

Commenting Cork Chamber Chief Executive Conor Healy said, “This new route gives business and tourist travellers direct access to the heart of Europe and is important to the development of the route network at Cork Airport. Brussels was one of the new European business destinations repeatedly requested by Cork businesses in previous air travel demand surveys conducted by the Chamber.”

Mr. Healy continued, “The Chamber acknowledges the efforts of Aer Lingus and Cork Airport in developing this new route which offers a greater choice to consumers and also opens up opportunities for increased business and tourism for Cork. The Chamber looks forward to the first flight on the route later this month.”
