Aer Lingus Launches New Cork To Brussels Route
16 March 2012
Aer Lingus is delighted to announce the addition of Cork-Brussels to its 2012 Summer schedule.
The introduction of the Cork to Brussels service brings the total of routes operated by Aer Lingus at Cork to twenty-four and comes on foot of a recent announcement that the airline is increasing frequencies on their Cork to Amsterdam and Cork to Faro services.
Brussels is an attractive destination for both business and leisure travellers. While the Belgian capital has long since been popular with the business commuter, Brussels is a city full of surprises for those looking for an exciting city break. Food lovers can sample local and international culinary delights in the city’s fine restaurants. Visitors to this historical city can also enjoy the medieval, gothic and modernist architecture or pay a visit to the world class museums such as the Natural Sciences Museum and the Museum of Army and Military History.
Director of Communications at Aer Lingus, Declan Kearney says, “Brussels has been a very popular destination for Irish tourists and business people for many years. In recent years it’s also a market in which we’ve experienced increased inbound traffic to Ireland, so we’re very excited about this new route’s potential to bring increased visitors to Cork and the Munster region.”
Aer Lingus continues to offer great value and excellent service including advance seat selection; caring and friendly staff to welcome you and airports situated in central, convenient locations to make your holiday as seamless as possible.
