Oslo Airport launches new airport magazine
After five years of publishing "360 Magazine", Oslo Airport’s airport magazine has been re-launched. The newcomer is called "Mallpaper" and is available in both a free print version and digitally.
“Mallpaper is a magazine that will inspire even greater interest in travel and exciting destinations and provide travellers information about great deals at Oslo Airport. We have spent considerable time and resources on developing Mallpaper into an even more interesting and relevant publication for the flying public. We are very pleased and hope it will be well received,” says Mette Shetelig, head of market development at Oslo Airport.
The new magazine has a brand new layout and format and is printed on a different type of paper than its predecessor. It will be clear that it is published by Oslo Airport, and the content will inspire the reader to travel and shop while providing relevant and useful information.

Those who wish to read the magazine digitally can do so at osl.no/mallpaper.
“Airport travel deals will be less prominent in the digital edition than in the print version. It will feature interesting stories about food, drink, art, culture, exciting destinations, and much more that is sure to feed your travel bug. It will focus on us as human beings and what triggers us to travel,” says Shetelig.
Mallpaper was developed in collaboration with Geelmuyden Kiese, Oslo Airport's new marketing communications agency. They have played a key role in developing the magazine and are in charge of the daily development of both the print and online version.
“Oslo Airport is Norway's largest shopping centre, and the only one with its own route to Dubai and ten daily flights to Stockholm,” says senior adviser Bård Hammervold at Geelmuyden Kiese. “Our starting point has been to create a magazine with content that people want to read, yet is packed with useful information and relevant offers. When the new terminal opens in 2017, Oslo Airport will be an even better place to shop, and Mallpaper is the first example of a completely new way to talk about the main airport.”
Mallpaper is free and is distributed at Oslo Airport. Published six times a year with a different theme for each issue, it is written in English and consists of 52 pages. The editor of Mallpaper is Linn Isaksen and Mette Shetelig is the editor-in-chief.
