About The Airport
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest airport complex in the Asian part of Russia, a transit hub at the crossroads of major air routes connecting North America and Europe with China and Southeast Asian countries. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories, which are suitable to handle all existing types of aircraft without restrictions.
Currently, the route network of the Tolmachevo Airport includes over 90 domestic and international destinations with regular and charter flights to Russian and foreign cities, including global tourist and business centers in Germany, China, and other countries. More than 40 Russian and foreign airlines operates regular flights via NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport. The schedule is constantly updated with new routes and increasing number of flights to popular destinations.
Tolmachevo Airport ranks 6th place among Russian airports in terms of passenger traffic. In 2012 for the first time in its historythe airport met three millionth passenger and served 3.27 million people by the end of the year, in 2013 - 3.7 million passengers. In 2014 the number of passengers reached 3.96 million passengers.
