The beginning of 2012 in the Tolmachevo airport was marked with increase in passenger traffic and increase of income.
In January 2012 at the international airport Tolmachevo have been served 215,998 passengers, which is 33% higher than in 2011. The number of passengers on international flights amounted 82,881 people (an increase of 31% compared to 2011) for domestic flights - 133,117 (an increase of 34%). 211,303 people used the services of the airport terminal (an increase of 30%).

In the first month of the year at the Novosibirsk airport was served 1,265 sorties, which is 10% more than in January 2011. 7276 tons of aviation fuel was sold . In January 2011 the aircraft at the airport Tolmachevo were fuelled up in the amount of two thousand tons.
Income of JSC "Airport Tolmachevo" in January 2012 increased by 92% over the same period in 2011.
At the Tolmachevo airport carried out a systematic work to attract new airlines and performed the development of the route network in Russia, near and far abroad. In January 2012 the Rusline airlines became a partner and opened regular flights from Novosibirsk to Rostov-on-Don, Mineral water, Ekaterinburg. Also, the Nordstar airlines started operating flights from Novosibirsk to Norilsk.
