Great aircraft - great parking
JSC "Airport Tolmachevo" and OOO "Sibaeroproekt" have signed a contract on engineering of the cargo apron at the Novosibirsk airport (Tolmachevo).
New cargo apron will include four parking for all types of wide-bodied aircraft, including Boeing747-8 and AN-225 "Mriya". The area of the new facility is 81,000 square meters.
It is planned that the first phase of the project will be completed later this year, it will be the the construction of two parking lots. Two more parking will be constructed during the year 2013.
All four parking will be provided with central refueling stations (hubs) and individual taxiways, due to this aircraft will be able to get to the parking areas. The construction will be carried out with the use of concrete with improved composition more resistant to chemicals and weather conditions.
The construction of a new cargo apron will be held under the Agreement on co-investment in construction and reconstruction of the airport complex, which was signed December 16, 2011 between JSC "Airport Tolmachevo" and the Federal Air Transport Agency. It is planned to attract more than 11 billion rubles of private investments to the Novosibirsk airport (Tolmachevo) until 2018. In addition to the construction of four parking spaces for wide-bodied aircraft, the work plan includes the construction of of the Class C Terminal, ground parking lots with thr transition gallery, catering shops, as well as reconstruction of the international terminal and the transformer substation TP 110/10.
