Tolmachevo Airport has got a Certificate of the European Aviation Safety Agency
Engineering and Aviation Service of Tolmachevo Airport has successfully passed the audit for compliance with international standards of Part-145 of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
The certificate confirming the right to perform a line technical maintenance and repair of components of Boeing 747-400 and MD-11 has been issued to the airport. These types of aircraft are the main once operating cargo flights via Tolmachevo.
The quality control of engineering and aviation services of the airport is one of the important elements of flight safety management. The activity on getting the IASA Certificate for Tolmachevo has been conducted since 2010. For this time specialists of the company have been trained in the leading European training centers.
On the conclusion of audits, Tolmachevo airport's equipment, warehouses, offices, technical documentation and staff involved in the maintenance and repairing of Boeing 747-400 and MD-11, meet the requirements of EASA and aircraft manufacturers.
In addition to the EASA, in 2011-2012 Tolmachevo Airport was checked by cargo airlines, such as Air Cargo Germany and Cargolux International. The airport partners were fully satisfied with the results. A successful audit by the Air Cargo Germany was completed in May 20, 2012. In the near future, engineering and aviation services will be inspected and certified according to the rules of Bermuda Civil Aviation Authorities (BDCA).
