Angara Airlines to launch new services from Novosibirsk to destinations in Siberia
December 20th, 2012, Angara Airlines launched regularflights from Novosibirsk to Irkutsk and Mirny, and effective from January 15th, 2013, the airline will start servicing direct route Novosibirsk-Chita. Flights will be operated by a comfortable new generation aircraft An-148-100E.
The opening of flights from Novosibirsk to other Siberian cities expands the route network of Novosibirsk International Airport (Tolmachevo). It also gives passengers the opportunity to use Novosibirsk airport as a transfer point when flying to the cities in Russia, CIS and abroad, and strengthens its position as a major hub in Siberia.
An-148-100E is a new generation turbojet regular passenger aircraft equipped with modern flight safety systems. Comfortable cabin of the aircraft is designed to carry 75 people; flight range is up to 4,200 km. The modification An-148-100E envisages the operation in super-low temperatures and high mountains, and allows landings on the airfields with the ground runways, which is particularly important for socially significant flights to the northern regions of Siberia.
