PRAGUE AIRPORT CELEBRATES 80th ANNIVERSARY

80 years!
For 80 years, Václav Havel Airport Prague has been there for passengers. The first landing at then recently built airport in Prague, Ruzyně took place on 5 April 1937 at 9 am, when a Douglas DC-2 of Czechoslovak State Airlines landed on the airport’s runway servicing the Piešťany-Zlín-Brno-Prague route. Since then, over 260 million passengers passed through the airport; in 2016, a record 13 million!
