AIRPORT TRANSFORMATION

The Government of the Czech Republic decided on 9th July 2008 to transfer the assets of the state enterprise "Správa Letiště Praha" (Prague Airport Authority) to the joint stock company "Letiště Praha" (Prague Airport). This is another important preparatory step in the process of the airport privatization. By the end of this year, the joint stock company Letiště Praha will gain control over the property in the total value of 25 billion CZK (1.7 billion USD) and in the months to follow, the company will become subject to privatization considered one of the biggest investment opportunities in the industry.
