Prague Airport monthly update - Network Expansion

Transavia, a Dutch based low cost airline operating as an independent part of the Air France-KLM group, announced its entry into the Czech market. From 21st April 2011, Transavia will launch its new service between Prague and Rotterdam.

For the first time, Prague will be connected with the second largest city in the Netherlands. The route will be operated four times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, by a Boeing 737-700 aircraft with a capacity of 149 seats. The new connection confirms the trend of growing demand for travels to and from the Netherlands which increased by nearly 10% in the first ten months of 2010.
