New flight destination from Riga International Airport
Wizz Air announces a new flight destination from Riga International Airport. The air carrier Wizz Air on 9 December will commence flights from Riga International Airport to Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands.
The airline will operate flights to the new destination twice a week – on Mondays and Fridays. Tickets for the flights can be booked starting from Wednesday, 17 August.
It should be reminded that the air carrier Wizz Air started operations at Riga International Airport in March 2010. The airline performs flights from the capital of Latvia to Luton Airport, London, and Torp Airport, Oslo.
Currently Riga International Airport offers travel opportunities to 86 destinations.
In the seven months of 2011 passenger traffic at Riga International Airport has risen to almost 3 million by 350 thousand passengers exceeding last year’s result when 2 615 696 passengers were welcomed at the airport.
