Sofia Airport welcomes Ryanair’s first route to Pisa
With a lot of sunshine and sky-blue balloons on 4th of April Terminal 1 of Sofia Airport welcomed the first Ryanair’s flight to the Bulgarian capital.
The new scheduled route to the Tuscany’s city of Pisa will be served twice weekly, on Monday and Thursday with very convenient times of arrival and departure at the both ends of the route.
All departing passengers were treated with a piece of cake and a glass of sparkling wine. The crew on flight FR 9199 was pleasantly surprised by a festive basket full of traditional Bulgarian groceries presented with a smile by Monica and Tanya from the Sofia Airport Marketing Team.
Pisa is the first route out of total 21 which Ryanair is to open from Sofia Airport by the end of the year. The Carrier’s new base at Sofia will be started with 3 aircraft as from the beginning of Winter 2016/17 timetable.
