Wizz Air – another new scheduled route from Sofia Airport

Scorching August, 2016 has begun with the launch of a new direct air route Sofia – Nuremberg operated by Wizz Air - one of the leading airlines at the capital city airport. For Sofia Airport it is a new undeveloped destination with year-round flights scheduled on Mondays and Fridays with convenient take-off and landing hours for both airports.
There are 12 German airports, including Nuremberg, connected through direct flights with Sofia Airport.
By the end of year 2016 we are expecting new flight offerings from Wizz Air: the exotic Georgian city of Kutaisi followed by Basel – situated on 3 borders and Doncaster Sheffield (South Yorkshire).
Sofia Airport will close the 2016 calendar year with extended air route network of 74 direct destinations, which is a spectacular growth given the 49 air routes covered in 2015.
