Numerous new routes opened at Sofia Airport

From IATA Summer 2018, Sofia Airport is introducing numerous new direct routes.

With special gifts we celebrated the first flights on the new routes to Ljubljana served by Adria Airways, to Nice, Lisbon and Malaga operated by Wizz Air and to Pafos served by Ryanair.

With the new destinations the total number of scheduled passenger routes served to/from Sofia Airport amounts to 73 airports in 30 different countries.

In the tourist charter segment, Sofia Airport expects double increase in the number of passengers carried – over 80 000 O&D passengers. This positive tendency is due to the increased number of charter routes that will be served in the summer season from Sofia Airport to Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Marocco, Greece and Tunis.
