Taking TAP Portugal to Lisbon
TAP Portugal will connect the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport with the Portuguese capital Lisbon with a non-stop flight from 05 June 2012. This member of the Star Alliance will be flying the route five times a week. The airline offers numerous long-haul flights to Brazil and Africa from the Lisbon hub.
The flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday will take off from Berlin Brandenburg Airport at 3.35pm and arrive at Lisbon Portela at 6.15pm. Return flights leave at 10.30am and arrive in Berlin at 2.50pm on these days. The TAP Portugal flights to Lisbon on Mondays will take off at 2.50pm. The return flight to Berlin will leave the Portuguese capital at 9.45am and land in the German capital at 2.05pm.
The city on the Tejo, population 550,000, is the political and economic centre of Portugal. Lisbon can look back on thousands of years of history as witnessed by the many monuments reminding visitors of the Lisbon of the Romans and Moors and of the capital of a one-time world empire. The Lisboetas are especially proud of the fado.
