Air France non-stop to Toulouse
Starting on 01 April 2012, Air France will connect Berlin with Toulouse. There will be four flights a week from Berlin-Tegel. The new route will bring two of the world’s most important aviation sites closer together. The aerospace corporation EADS and the airline Air France have their home offices in Toulouse in south-western France.
The flights to Toulouse will take off every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Air France flights on Wednesdays and Fridays will take off from Tegel at 12.50pm and land at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport at 3.10pm. The two weekend flights will take off from Berlin at 9.00am and arrive in southern France at 11.20am.
Return flights from Toulouse to Berlin on Wednesdays and Fridays will leave at 09.55am, arriving at 12.10pm. Saturday flights will take off at 06.00am, Sunday flights at 06.10am in Toulouse, while the planes will land in Berlin-Tegel at 08.15am and 08.25am, respectively.
Toulouse, the capital of the Midi-Pyrénées region, is the fourth-largest city in France and has a population of about 437,000. The city has a leading position in the aerospace industry as well as in the field of research. This is where the supersonic plane Concorde and the Ariane rocket were created. An absolute must during a visit to Toulouse: a tour of the Airbus facilities where the wide-body Airbus A 380 is assembled.
