New route to Baku

Since 2 May 2015, Berlin Airports has been pleased to report a new addition to services available at Berlin-Tegel Airport: Azerbaijan Airlines is now oper-ating a new route from Berlin to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. This sum-mer, flights will be available twice a week – always on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

On both days, the aircraft depart from the Azerbaijani capital at 7:25am and arrive in Berlin-Tegel at 9:25am local time. The return flight takes off at 10:45am and lands in Baku at 6:40pm local time. The journey takes roughly five hours. Azerbaijan Airlines operates Airbus A319s seating 122 passen-gers on this route.

Berlin is not only an important destination from Baku but is also a significant addi-tion to Azerbaijan Airlines' extensive European flight network.”
