Double-digit growth continues at Tallinn Airport
Year to date 1,28 million passengers travelled through Tallinn Airport, which represents a 21,3% increase over the same period of 2011. The busiest month ever was July with 228’076 passengers, 20,7% more than in July last year.
The growth was mainly triggered by Estonian Air with new services to 9 destinations and remarkable growth in transfer passengers from summer 2012 schedule.
The biggest passenger market has been Germany with scheduled routes to six airports, followed by Finland with five different destinations.
Estonian Air served 40% of Tallinn Airport passengers, Ryanair 16% and Lufthansa 9%.
