TPA Reaches Record Number of Caribbean Routes

With multiple new route launches this summer season, TPA is seeing a record number of nonstop routes to the Caribbean

Nonstop service to 10 Caribbean destinations this summer

With new scheduled service this summer to Santo Domingo and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic as well two carriers adding Puerto Rico's Aguadilla, Tampa International Airport is seeing record levels of nonstop Caribbean service as carriers start to recognize long-untapped opportunities.

Airlines are now offering scheduled nonstop service to 10 Caribbean destinations (including Cancun), a record for TPA. The destinations and carriers are as follows:

Aguadilla (BQN) - Frontier and jetBlue (starts 5 July)

Cancun (CUN) - Frontier (seasonal) and jetBlue

Grand Cayman (GCM) - Cayman Airways

Havana (HAV) - Southwest

Marsh Harbour (MHH) - Silver Airways (seasonal)

Montego Bay (MBJ) - Frontier (seasonal)

Nassau (NAS) - Silver Airways

Punta Cana (PIJ) - Frontier (seasonal)

San Juan (SJU) - Frontier, jetBlue, Southwest, Spirit

Santo Domingo (SDO) - Frontier (seasonal)
