TPA Roundup: Airlines Launch 8 New Routes
November has been busy at Tampa International Airport, where carriers have inaugurated eight new routes, including four to Canada
Tampa International Airport has celebrated eight inaugural flights with our airline partners in November. The new service includes four domestic markets and three Canadian cities, giving travelers a wider variety of options to fly from TPA.
All of the routes were already served by other carriers. The new service includes:
Frontier: Baltimore/Washington (BWI)
Lynx: Toronto (YYZ) and Montreal (YUL)
Porter: Toronto (YYZ)
Spirit: Norfolk (ORF), Richmond (RIC), and Charleston, SC (CHS)
WestJet: Hamilton (YHM)
Coming in December, TPA will add two more dots on the map to destinations previously unserved by any carrier. Breeze will inaugurate nonstop service to Springfield, IL (SPI) on 4 December, and WestJet will launch seasonal Saturday service to Calgary (YYC) on 23 December.
