JetBlue Adds 2nd Daily TPA-CUN and Daily TPA-PVD

The carrier has been serving Cancun from Tampa with daily service but will double that frequency starting 27 October
Beginning 27 October, JetBlue announced it will offer brand-new daily nonstop service from Tampa to Providence, Rhode Island (PVD), and increase its Tampa-Cancun (CUN) service to double daily after previously serving that route with a single daily flight.
The Cancun addition is consistent with other recent growth from Tampa to the Carribbean and Latin America, which still remain underserved from TPA in spite of that growth.
Aeromexico launched daily nonstop service between Tampa and Mexico City 1 July on an E190, and has already announced it will be switching to mainline 737 MAX 8 service starting this fall. Southwest, meanwhile, added a second daily flight from Tampa to Havana earlier this year to further augment its longstanding success on the route. And in 2023 Frontier began seasonal service to Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, and brought the routes back for summer 2024.
Tampa-Providence is also already served by Southwest and Breeze.
