Great traffic recovery at Venice Marco Polo airport in early July

Venice airport today welcomes around 50 flights between arrivals and departures, 88% more than yesterday, the 30th of June. A qualitative leap that expands the network of flights to both national and European destinations.
In particular, British Airways is now flying again with a flight to London Heathrow and easyJet with connections to Cagliari,Naples, Brindisi, Catania, Olbia, Bari and London Gatwick will join in the next few days. Air Dolomiti, flying since June, will go from 3 to 11 weekly flights to Munich, Air France from 7 to 14 flights a week to Paris, Lufthansa from 7 to 14 flights to Frankfurt.Ryanair now is introducing Barcelona, Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, Edinburgh and Lamezia Terme, and will bring the weekly flights to Bari from 2 to 3, those from Catania from 2 to 5 and Palermo from 3 to 7.
From, July the 2nd, Iberia will also depart with 4 weekly flights to Madrid and Turkish Airlines with 4 flights to Istanbul.
On 3rd of July, Swiss will launch 5 flights a week to Zurich and Air Serbia 2 to Belgrade, while Volotea, operational from 18th of June, will add Alghero, Olbia, Mykonos and Santorini to its services.
SAS will depart on the 4th of July with one weekly flight to Copenhagen.
All the operations of the Venetian airport are managed in complete safety thanks to the measures adopted to guarantee social distancing, sanitization of the environments and protection of passengers and operators using devices.
