Inaugural Event BMI

Due to the opening of the route Vienna-London Heathrow, an inaugural event with a ribbon cutting ceremony was organized at Vienna International Airport on 29 March 2010.

In cooperation with Austrian Airlines, five daily flights are offered from Vienna to London. The first BMI flight from VIE to LHR took off on 28 March 2010, the beginning of summer timetable. The flights are operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
