About The Airport

Toronto Pearson is Canada’s largest and busiest airport, in Canada’s largest and busiest city. This architecturally stunning, completely functional and incredibly friendly airport is the hub for some 400,000 flights a year and over 38 million passengers annually. When you consider that Canada’s population is roughly 35.3 million, that’s more than our entire country!

The GTAA is the operator of Toronto Pearson International Airport, handling the most airline passengers and cargo traffic of any Canadian airport.  Toronto Pearson is the second busiest airport in terms of international traffic (international and transborder) in North America. In 2014, 38.4 million passengers travelled through Toronto Pearson.
