Toronto Pearson's Excellence In Cargo Operations Recognized

The Air Cargo Excellence Survey for 2011 has been unveiled by Air Cargo World, and Toronto Pearson has been ranked 4th for North American airports handling between 400,000 to 999,999 tonnes of cargo per year. The rankings are based on Performance, Value, Facilities and Operations, and are ranked by the airlines directly.

Perry Cloete, Manager, Air Service Business Development was very proud of Toronto Pearson's
ranking. "We have been working closely with the airlines and freight forwarding community
to encourage air cargo growth through Toronto," said Mr. Cloete. "It is very encouraging to
receive this feedback and to see that our ranking is higher than some of our North American
competition. We are seeing the benefits of reducing our cargo landing fees as we continue to
work at growing our business."

Toronto Pearson handled 482,518 metric tonnes of cargo in 2010, making it Canada's busiest
cargo airport, without exception. Toronto Pearson received its highest ranking in the Facilities
category, which reinforces the importance of the sound infrastructure investments that have
been made by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
