WestJet Adds New Toronto Pearson Routes

Beginning in November, WestJet will offer seasonal, non-stop service to New Orleans, Santa Clara (Cuba) and Grand Cayman Island from Toronto Pearson.

WestJet has just announced their winter schedule and there are many benefits to passengers at Toronto Pearson.

Beginning in November, WestJet will offer seasonal, non-stop service to New Orleans, Santa Clara (Cuba) and Grand Cayman Island from Toronto Pearson.

In February 2011, WestJet will also launch new seasonal, non-stop service between Toronto and Palm Springs, California.

As part of their announcement, WestJet also extended service to Bermuda, Samana (Dominican Republic) and Puerto Vallarta to year-round. These routes were previously seasonal only.

With these new destinations, WestJet now offers scheduled service throughout its 71-city North American and Caribbean network.

"We are pleased to announce seasonal, non-stop service to three new destinations from Toronto's Pearson International Airport," said Hugh Dunleavy, Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Planning for WestJet. "Our valued relationship with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority is a key building block to our ongoing, strategic approach to growth from Toronto."

"WestJet's continued commitment to growing services for the benefit of passengers using Toronto Pearson has been shown again by the announcement of these new routes," added Pamela Griffith-Jones, Chief Commercial Officer for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. "We will continue to work with WestJet to support their needs and to help offer more choice and more routes for the communities we serve."
