Toronto Pearson Named Favourite Airport in 2010 Agents Choice Awards

Toronto Pearson has once again been honoured with an award. The 2010 Travel Press Agent's Choice Awards were announced recently and Toronto Pearson landed in first place as the favourite airport in Canada among travel agents.

There are many factors that led the agents to choose Toronto Pearson. The airy and spacious Terminal 1 with easy check in options including self-serve kiosks that save guests time led the way. Agents appreciate the openness of the terminal that allows passengers to feel calm and not crowded which checking in and making their way to their flight.

The availability of hotel accommodations close by the airport was another factor in Toronto's win. Toronto Pearson's guests have several very good hotel options close to the airport which is important for those arriving on late night flights or staying over for an early morning flight.

Toronto Pearson's location also earned it a nod among the travel agents. The proximity to Highway 401 which connects a large part of the province is a great asset to the airport, allowing travellers from many different cities easy access to Canada's largest airport.
