If you're travelling through Toronto Pearson this week, you'll notice some new festive touches to help get guests in the holiday spirit. This is a very busy season at the airport and the Toronto Pearson family is doing their best to ensure that our guests enjoy the best that the airport has to offer.
Those departing from Terminal 1 are encouraged to look up to the ceiling and enjoy the uniquely located holiday greeting card from Toronto Pearson. Holiday themed images are being projected onto the ceiling of the Departures Hall giving guests a kind of snow globe like feeling while they are checking in for their flights.
If you're travelling with children, keep your eyes out for Mrs. Claus and her elves. They will be making the rounds through Terminals 1 and 3 reading Christmas stories to children waiting for their flights. These special guests will be in the terminals between December 17 and 23 in the evening hours and again on the morning of Christmas Eve.
Holiday carollers will be serenading Toronto Pearson's guests between December 17 and 23 and on Christmas Eve morning. Passengers waiting to check in and at the security check points are being treated to some traditional holiday favourites to help keep the mood light and festive for guests even while they are waiting in line.
Throughout both terminals, guests will encounter Toronto Pearson's Guest Service Representatives sporting red and white holiday scarves and handing out candy canes and smiles to those travelling. Passengers and friends and family picking up arriving guests will find themselves humming along to their favourite holiday music that is playing in Terminal 1.
