Zagreb Airport successfully handled the largest aircraft in the World, Antonov 225!

This weekend, (8-10 Nov 2013) Zagreb Airport successfully handled the largest aircraft in the World Antonov 225. The airplane landed perfectly at its estimated time of its arrival this Friday, 8 November 2013, at 18 o'clock. Entire Saturday, 9 Nov, the aircraft was on parking positions of Zagreb Airport, due to special loading operations. The aircraft departed early Sunday morning, 10 Nov, at 6 o'clock on route to Philippines.

Thousands of aviation enthusiasts, citizens, number of aviation professionals from neighboring countries all rushed to Zagreb to be part of this historic moment and take a glimpse at this one of a kind aircraft. Many of whom most probably will never have the chance to see this giant in their lifetime. What a great day to remember!
