Winter timetable 2016/17: the key changes

New destinations including Mauritius, Rovaniemi and Agadir to tempt you.

Compared with the winter timetable 2015/16, Edelweiss now flies to three new destinations. The route portfolio includes Mauritius, Rio de Janeiro and Seville. There are two weekly services to all three destinations.

Germania Flug AG operates twelve routes out of Zurich, e.g. Funchal, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Beirut, Vilnius and Larnaca. Rovaniemi (Finland) and Agadir are the new destinations in the winter timetable. Both these destinations are now available from Zurich.

The Spanish airline Vueling will fly to the Canary Islands, Alicante, Lisbon, London Luton and Porto in addition to Barcelona, Malaga and Rome in winter.

In addition to its services to London Gatwick, London Luton and Hamburg, easyJet will also offer up to six weekly connections to Amsterdam, Lisbon and Berlin Schönefeld.

Starting in winter, Air Europa will fly to Madrid twice a day with attractive onward connections from there to Latin America.

Atlasglobal will offer daily services to Istanbul.

A new airline based in the Netherlands, Transavia, will offer three weekly flights to
Amsterdam as of 16 February 2017.

SWISS has new aircraft on both short-haul and long-haul routes
SWISS integrated two new aircraft types into its fleet in recent months. It will be operating Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its long-haul flights. The completely revamped cabin interior of the new SWISS flagship will meet the highest standards in terms of comfort and aesthetics in all three travel classes.

SWISS has set another milestone by integrating the innovative Bombardier C series to its short-haul destinations. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies in their engines, systems and materials, these aircraft set new standards in comfort, cost efficiency and environmental sustainability.
