ZRH: Edelweiss christened its A340
Today, 23 October, the A340 HB-JMC was christened "Flumserberg"
It has become a tradition that Edelweiss christens its aircraft with a ceremonial act at ZRH Airport.
According to the slogan: "where Edelweiss (flower) is at home", David Birrer (COO) and Marie-Therese Nadig, former Swiss ski racer as well as Olympic winner 1980, ceremoniously christened the Airbus. Accompanied with representatives from the region Flumserberg, tourism, media, Airport Zurich and orchestra.
