London Oxford route awarded route funding
Successful outcome to application for DfT route funding
The UK Department for Transport has awarded the Oxford -Edinburgh route launch funding covering some of the risk associated with the intial stages of operational route commencement.
The funding contributes to the airport fees and charges paid by the operting airline to the airport over the initial 3 years of the service and was awarded after DfT scrutiny of the business case for the route and determining the long term viability of the route to operate unsupported after the initial start up period.
