United Airlines resumes flights to Porto
United Airlines reintroduces flights between New York/Newark (EWR) and Porto (OPO) starting March 27th.
The route will operate daily non-stop using Boeing 757-200, with capacity for 169 passengers in three classes (16 United Polaris Business Class seats, 45 United Economy Plus seats and 108 in United Economy).
United and TAP Portugal will be the two airlines serving this route. It will allow families and friends to reunite and re-open the strong tourism destinations on both sides of the Atlantic. During the Summer season the two airlines will offer nine weekly frequencies and approximately 15,000 seats per month.
During 2019, United and TAP Portugal carried 124,000 passengers on the Newark-Porto route.
