Porto airport is now connected to a new country

On October 30, easyJet added a new route between two VINCI airports: Porto (OPO) and Sal (SID). For Porto airport, this new connection represents a new destination to a new country. For the airport of Sal island, the arrival of easyJet represents both a new airline, the first low-cost airline to operate scheduled flights on this route, and a new destination.

This new connection will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, on an A320. EasyJet is now the only scheduled airline operating this route from Porto to Cape Verde.

The departure of the first flight was celebrated with a gate event, with the traditional cake cut and a small give away for the passengers.
