Discover Tallinn with direct service from Göteborg Landvetter Airport
On August 28 2017, the Estonian carrier Nordica launched non-stop service to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, from Göteborg Landvetter Airport. The new direct route will meet the demand, in particular, from businesses in western Sweden, which do a great deal of trade with Estonia.
“We are pleased that we can add Tallinn as a new destination in our international offering. We know that a large share of business travellers today have to fly via Stockholm or Helsinki instead of directly between Gothenburg and Tallinn. So it is gratifying to be able to offer this non-stop service to businesses in western Sweden,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter Airport.
In Tallinn, people can discover both medieval charm and modern attractions. With free wi-fi available throughout the country, Estonians are one of the most technologically advanced people in the world.
“Nordica serves both business and leisure travellers. There has been strong demand for this direct link, so we expect there to be a good response from passengers. Estonia has strong business connections with Sweden, and now we are facilitating this exchange and creating even more business opportunities,” says Kristel Penu, chief commercial officer at Nordica.
Nordica will serve the route in partnership with LOT Polish Airlines, with six departures a week. All children up to the age of eleven fly for free when they travel with an adult until October 31, 2017.
