Passenger Statistics
Adelaide Airport achieves 1.9% total passenger growth for FY15
Adelaide Airport Limited (AAL) has recorded positive passenger growth of 1.9% for FY15 despite challenging operating conditions.
Domestic performance has been resilient, with FY15 domestic passengers growing +2.3% to 6.4 million.
Domestic growth largely reflects capacity increases from the low cost market, with an additional 263,000 (+3.4%) seats in comparison to the previous corresponding period.
International passenger growth has slowed to +3.0% during FY15, largely due to the cancellation of Air Asia X’s Kuala Lumpur service on 25 January 2015.
Regional passengers decreased by -4.3% on prior year.
