bmibaby announces more winter routes from Manchester Airport

New winter flights to Barcelona

bmibaby, has today (Tuesday 8th July, 2008) launched phase two of it's winter programme from Manchester Airport. The airline has introduced a new route from the airport for the winter season to Barcelona, plus increased frequencies to Cork to meet consumer demand. In total bmibaby will fly to 10 European destinations for winter: Alicante, Belfast International, Barcelona, Cork, Geneva, Ireland West Knock, Jersey, Malaga, Prague and Palma. Flights are available for travel from 26th October 2008 until 28th March 2009. 

Crawford Rix, managing director, bmibaby, said: 

"I am pleased to announce phase two of bmibaby's winter programme from Manchester Airport. We have 10 great European destinations to choose from this winter including new flights to Barcelona. Bookings to the Spanish city have been extremely strong, so we will continue operating this route during the winter months. We are also ramping up the number of weekly flights to Cork, offering up to nine flights per week to the city, a great benefit for business passengers."
