New Weekly Flight To Riga By AirBaltic Welcomed

Last weekend saw the addition of yet another new airline starting its operation from Malta Airport. Flight BT739 - airBaltic's new Riga-Malta weekly flight - touched down for the first time in Malta last Sunday at 1159hrs. 

As usual, it was welcomed with a water arch by the Malta Airport Fire & Rescue Team, and passengers were welcomed with flowers and the customary cake for the special occasion. 

This was the third new airline kicking off operations in this Summer Schedule. Two other new airlines are expected to commence their operations in the coming days.
