Aalborg Airport Again voted the Best Danish Airport

The 5th of October, Aalborg Airport was able to defend the title of Best Airport in Denmark, when the Danish Travel Awards was held for the 25th time in Copenhagen. The last time it was held was in 2019, when Aalborg Airport for the first time won in front of the other Danish airports.

- In the wake of two years with the corona pandemic, which has significantly left its mark on the travel industry, tonight's award as Denmark's best airport is a great honor and recognition from our travelers at Aalborg Airport. It proves that despite a challenging time, we have delivered the same fantastic service that our employees are known for delivering every single day with a smile. It is they who make us Denmark's best airport, and a huge appriciation must be given for their great efforts. At the same time, I would like to say a big thank you to our business partners – including the airlines and tour operators, who have made this award possible yet again, says CEO Niels Hemmingsen.

Danish Travel Awards is a tribute to the Danish travel and aviation industry - organized by industry media Check-in.dk and Standby.dk and Travelmedia Nordic. This year's award ceremony was held at Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen, where around 425 industry professionals took part.
