Queen Alia shares traffic statistics report for H1 2017
Growth in multiple areas
Queen Alia International Airport welcomed 3,609,875 passengers during the first half of 2017, registering a 5.4% year-to-date (YTD) increase in passenger traffic (PAX) in comparaison to the same period in 2016.
YTD aircraft movements (ACM) have also witnessed a minor increase of 0.7% while the amount of cargo handled decreased by 1.7% in comparaison to the first six months of last year.
In June 2017, PAX rose to 628,787 passengers, which amounted to an impressve 14% rise. Similarly, ACM and cargo witnessed significant increases of 8.9% and 22.2% respectively, as opposed to the same month of last year, coming in at 6,545 ACM and 10,661 tons.
