Bratislava: A record size of winter network with 31 direct routes in W18
BRATISLAVA – Marrakesh, Lviv and Kiev-Boryspiľ newly in offer from Bratislava M. R. Štefanik Airport this winter. This season´s winter schedule will offer a total of 31 direct routes – the largest ever winter network in the airport´s history.
“Compared to last year´s winter timetable, when there were 26 scheduled routes on offer for our passengers, this year´s schedule offers even five more direct routes,” said Jozef Pojedinec, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Bratislava M. R. Stefanik Airport. BTS will be directly connected with 31 destinations in 20 different counties.
“Apart from brand new routes to Marrakesh, Lviv and Kiev-Boryspil, for the first time in winter, there will be flights by Ryanair to Malta, Paphos and Thessaloniki. All three routes have been operated since March this year and we are happy they remain on offer throughout the winter season as well. It is also the first time that the route to Paris-Beauvais will continue in winter,” added Pojedinec.
The network will be operated by 6 carriers – namely Ryanair (21 routes), Wizz Air (5 routes), CSA (2 routes), Air Cairo, Pobeda and flydubai (operating 1 route each). Georgian Airways will return with their regular flight to Tbilisi with the arrival of S19 season.
