Bratislava airport sees a record high in passenger numbers
In the first half of 2019, 944,752 passengers passed through the MR Štefánik Airport, 5% more than in the same period last year when 901,000 passengers were recorded. This marks the 2nd highest H1 result in the entire history of the airport.
There were 13,089 flights during this period. Most passengers used the flights to and from London, Dublin and Kiev during the first six months of 2019, while Moscow, Skopje and Sofia were also popular.
Ryanair, Wizz Air and Pobeda carried the most passengers in the first half. New destinations include Kyiv-Boryspil (Ryanair) and Lviv (Wizz Air).
