Charlottesville–Albemarle Airport (CHO) is located 7 miles (13 km) north of Charlottesville, in Albemarle County, Virginia, United States. It has operated commercial flights since 1955 and serves the Charlottesville/Albemarle region and surrounding counties with 21 daily non-stop flights to six major cities on four different airlines. Situated among the blue ridge mountains, the area is the home of 4 U.S. presidents, as well as Thomas Jefferson's University of Virginia. CHO had over 230,000 enplanements in 2013.
